Upcoming 2019-2020 ACT Antiques & Collectables Fairs

The dates for the Autumn and Spring Antiques & Collectables Fairs for 2019 through to 2020 are:
2018: 23-25 March & 17-19 August
2019: 22-24 March & 23-25 August
2020: 20-22 March & 21-23 August
All Fairs are held at the Albert Hall, Canberra
Canberra ACT’s Original Antique and Collectables Fairs are jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Canberra City and Selkirk Antiques and have now operated for 31 years. The Fairs are held twice a year, Spring and Autumn, in the heritage-listed Albert Hall.
The Albert Hall is located at 100 Commonwealth Avenue, Yarralumla, ACT, 2600 next door to the Hyatt Hotel.
Twenty-three recognized antique dealers will exhibit and will have for sale quality furniture, maps, prints, jewellery, dolls, fine books, china, pottery, clocks, watches, glassware and bric-a-brac.
The Springtime Fair will be open Friday Night 17 August (6pm-9pm), Saturday 18 August (10am-5pm), and Sunday 19 August (10am-4pm).
Entry prices are $10 adult, $8 concession, children under 14 years free – tickets on sale at the door.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.
The Raffle’s first prize will be a collector’s item; tickets will be on sale at the door. It will be drawn at 3pm on Sunday 19 August and the winner notified by telephone.
Light lunches and refreshments will be available at the venue.
Do come along as there is something for everyone.
Proceeds of the Spring Fair will go to the local charity, CanTeen, that supports young people aged 12 to 25 years living with cancer. The money raised stays in the ACT district.
